This fall weather is perfect!

I have long~ loved the fall season, and our current weather is what I'm talkin' bout!! Wow, Cache Valley has never looked more beautiful. I hope it's something you are enjoying in your neck of the woods as well. We anticipate Halloween in all it's fun, and harvest the fruits of our labors. We focus on projects within the walls of our homes. And who can forget the gorgeous color outside the windows. What can I say, it's my favorite!! What season really does it for you? Leave me a comment, I'd love to know.

View the "My Pretty" line, ..... ready for market this Saturday.

Forgive my photography. I absolutely had a blast dreaming up the "my pretty" line. Hope you recognize that "line" from the famous Wizard of Oz movie. These ladies are looking for a new home this Saturday at the Providence Gardner's Market, stop in if you need some adorable wickedness in your Halloween decor.

Hope you are enjoying this gorgeous weather today.

Introducing, my harvest themed front porch.

Some of these base items may look familiar, I just added some harvest fruits and veggies that I already had, and changed the chalk board. This will only be enjoyed until the end of September. Halloween in all it's fun, will adorn the front yard/porch come the first day in October. I love fall, it's just such a beautiful time of year.

Have a wonderful week.

If rustic isn't your thing,...look away!

Do you remember my trip to McCall, Idaho I spoke of in a recent post? On that particular visit my brother and sister~in~law gave me this ammunition wood crate, complete with compartments. It was love at first sight for sure. My sister said," I want you to have it, I know you'll do something wonderful with it". I was tickled pink, but felt a little pressure to make it wonderful. I have been having visions ever since, finding the time has been a challenge to say the least. Finally there was a 3 hr. break in my world, and I got to work.

The idea to have a side table/ storage unit in the living room kept flooding my mind. The first thing was to remove the hinges and hardware, then sand each pc.. From there choosing the right color became the next stage of fun. I decided on the creamy yellow, called strawflower. You can find it at Home Depot, Rustolem Painter's Touch 2x the coverage... I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!!! Then I sanded lightly to raise the wood grain. I apologize that the next step got left out of the picture line up. But, the all important glazing process was up next. I love the color Burl, by Martha Stewart, just order your color and mix your own glaze to it. The instructions are on every glaze can. And there she is. I decided that not only was it a beautiful rustic end table, but it now stores various materials a crafter needs on hand. I love dual~ purpose pieces.

Hope you enjoy these pictures. A huge thank you to Don and Chris Lott, our very dear and loving family, we all miss you so much.

To market we go....

Thank you to all who supported the Providence city Gardner's Market Saturday. I just wanted to post some pictures of the Halloween crafts available there. I am also working on new holiday projects soon to come. If you haven't been to the market, it's worth it to make some time and enjoy the local produce and talent for sale. Hope to see you there. Have a great week.
